If you’ve been affected by the iOS 9.3 hyperlinks bug, your wait for a fix is over as Apple pushes out iOS 9.3.1 to iPhone and iPad users.
According to Apple, the update “fixes an issue that caused apps to be unresponsive after tapping on links in Safari and other apps.” In other words, this fixes the hyperlinks bug that some users have been complaining about.
If you carry out the update over-the-air (OTA) then the update is going be small. Via iTunes you can expect to download a multi-gigabyte file. Either way, this should be the end of that annoying bug.
Interestingly, despite two high-profile bugs, iOS 9.3 is more stable than earlier releases of iOS and more robust than Android 6.0.
