Apple event set for March 21

March 21 has been set for the next Apple event. Expected are a new iPhone and iPad. Most likely we’ll see other new products and updates from the folks in Cupertino.

Report: 37 million Apple TVs shipped

Strategy Analytics claims that nearly 37 million Applt TVs have shipped since the device first appeared in 2007. Apple released a new Apple TV late last year with a touch remote and tight Siri integration.

Apple Watch as emergency detection system

A patent filed by Apple shows using the sensors in the Apple Watch as an emergency detection system. It could detect health events such as heart attacks and other situations such as muggings. The system would call for help when such an emergency takes place.

Amazon brings Kindle update for dyslexics

The latest version of the Kindle app for iOS adds support to make it easier for those with dyslexia. Support has been added for the OpenDyslexic font which makes it easier for those with reading disabilities to recognize characters easier.
