Amazon prime is a great subscription service for those that use and purchase a lot of eligible items on Amazon. This means that if you are a regular customer living in the US you could save a lot of money on shipping. So, what can Amazon Prime do for you?
FREE Two-Day Shipping
The first benefit the Amazon Prime membership will be FREE Two-Day Shipping on million of items fulfilled by Amazon.com. What this is saying is that you will receive your items two days after you order them. There’s a couple of factors that Amazon says could delay your delivery date.
- Whether the item is in stock when you order. If we don’t have it, we’ll get it to you two days after it’s back in stock.
- Whether the item is immediately ready to ship.
- When you order: Check the cut-off time shown on the product page. Items are delivered every day but Sunday (see the chart below for details).
When you place your order they will show you on the product page when you will receive your items. Amazon Prime members also receive other FREE shipping methods.
- FREE Standard Shipping – Includes shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico which could take up to seven days also to places like PO Boxes in the US as well as APO/FPO addresses with US Zip codes.
- FREE No-Rush Shipping – Prime members can choose Free No-Rush Shipping if they do not need their package in less than a week. If prime members choose the no-rush shipping there are promotional credit offered to them like in Amazon Instant Video Store and the Amazon MP3 store.

Kindle Owners’ Lending Library
The Kindle Owner’s Lending Library allows U.S. Amazon Prime members to choose from thousands of books to borrow for free, as frequently as a book a month, with no due dates from a Kindle device. Customers in a paid membership, free trial or receiving a free month of Prime benefits with a Kindle Fire activation are eligible for the benefit. Eligible Items and Addresses
If you’ve ordered items with Super Saver Shipping before, most of those items also qualify for Amazon Prime shipping. Products eligible for Amazon Prime will be designated on the product page and at check-out. See the chart below for details on eligible items and addresses.
If only some items in your purchase are eligible for Amazon Prime, you’ll be charged applicable shipping fees for the ineligible items.
Using 1-Click as a Prime Member
Amazon Prime members who turn on 1-Click Ordering see a members-only banner at the top of product pages. Most of the time you’ll see special buttons for “One-Day 1-Click – $3.99″ and “Two-Day 1-Click – FREE” that make using your Amazon Prime benefits even easier. If the shipping address selected from the drop-down is in Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, the 1-Click default is FREE Standard shipping.
How To Become A Member Of The Amazon Prime?
To become a member of the Amazon Prime, you will have to sign up for an annual membership that cost $79 per year.
